About Paul Netopski, Critical Prism Defense
Paul is the founder and owner of Critical Prism Defense LLC, a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) cybersecurity consultancy. Before founding Critical Prism Defense, Paul served in various cybersecurity and information technology roles in the space and defense industry for over 20 years. Paul served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years as an electronics technician with duties overlapping electronics, information technology and cybersecurity. Later, he worked for the United States Air Force as a contractor focusing on Information Systems Security for critical mission systems. Paul holds several certifications (CISSP, C|CISO, C|EH, ITILv3) and participates in professional organizations including general business (ABA), national defense (NDIA) industrial security (NCMS) and cybersecurity (ISSA, (ISC)2). He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Information Assurance and Security from Capella University. Paul is a Certified CMMC Assessor, Certified CMMC Professional, CMMC Provisional Instructor, CMMC Provisional Assessor and Registered Practitioner.
