The GSA Application Process: How Long Will It Take?
The GSA application process can be a very time-consuming process for many prospective vendors. This is one of the main reasons that there isn't a specific time frame between the beginning of the process to award time. Getting on a GSA Schedule is a complex process that requires documenting, pulling, and preparing large amounts of information in a precise way. It also depends on what type of schedule you are seeking to get on as not all schedule contract processes are the same. For all of your GSA news and updates, subscribe to our weekly blog!
We'd like to wish a Happy 70th Anniversary to the GSA! The General Services Administration was created by President Truman in 1949 to streamline the acquisition and administrative work of the federal government. Did you also know that it is the United States' only source made solely to procure goods and services for the U.S. government? GSA offers a wide array of products and services that federal agencies need to serve the general public.

The WDOL.gov website has officially been decommissioned
The GSA recently announced that Wage Determinations OnLine.gov (WDOL.gov) has been decommissioned and transitioned over to beta.SAM.gov. Along with all of the old features from the WDOL.gov website, beta.SAM.gov offers its users several new features, such as a Learning Center for training information, a Quickstart Guide as well as a WD Transitional Video. WDOL.gov is the third out of a total of ten websites that either have or will be decommissioned and transitioned over to the beta.SAM.gov website. It will be important to understand that once these sites have been transitioned over to the beta.SAM.gov site, the legacy IP addresses will become obsolete.
