As a GSA MAS Schedule Contract holder, it’s important to stay current with all solicitation refreshes and potential changes to your Schedule contract. Each Schedule undergoes updates via refreshes periodically, and often, GSA will release a Request for Information to compile feedback and pertinent data from those whom the changes directly affect.
Recently, GSA has issued a Request for Information (RFI) outlining proposed updates to several software-related IT Schedule 70 SINs. Released on November 6, this RFI is seeking feedback from GSA industry partners on proposed changes to three separate SINs; 132-32, 132-33, and 132-34. These proposed changes include:
This RFI is a valuable opportunity for software vendors to provide the government with feedback on the proposed changes and can help shape the eventual IT Schedule 70 Solicitation refresh. The main goal of this RFI is to gather feedback and information from industry partners who would be directly affected, but Federal Government agencies are also welcome to provide feedback. Specific questions are included in the RFI document for both industry partners and Federal Government agencies in order to facilitate conversations pertaining to potential implementation.
Responses from industry partners are not mandatory, but this is an important opportunity for both contractors and Federal Government buyers to voice their opinions and concerns with the proposed SIN updates. Responses are due by Monday, November 26, 2018, via email to Jessica.ocampogsa.gov with the subject line “IT Schedule 70 RFI Response re: Software SINs”. Follow this RFI on FedBizOpps here.
