From deadlines to new SINs and new solicitations, there’s certainly no shortage of Consolidation notices floating around for GSA contractors. GSA’s new consolidated MAS solicitation was released this morning on FedBizOpps and their own eOffer/eMod site. The physical solicitation has been a long time coming and we have been counting down the hours until its release. Well, it’s finally here and there are some BIG changes.

Schedule 84: Total Solutions for Law Enforcement, Security, Facilities Management, Fire, Rescue, Clothing, Marine Craft and Emergency/Disaster Response is one of most successful and highly sought-after Schedules in the GSA MAS program, thanks in part to its expansive nature. Based solely on the name of the Schedule, you can gather just how wide the scope of this particular Schedule is.

“If You Build it, They Will Come” Having your GSA Multiple Award Schedule Contract awarded can seem like the light at the end of a lengthy tunnel, but it’s not the end of the journey. Once awarded your contract, the real work has only just begun. The payoff for becoming a successful GSA MAS contractor can be huge, but only if the right steps are taken from post-award day 1.

As a GSA MAS Schedule Contract holder, it’s important to stay current with all solicitation refreshes and potential changes to your Schedule contract. Each Schedule undergoes updates via refreshes periodically, and often, GSA will release a Request for Information to compile feedback and pertinent data from those whom the changes directly affect.

After a 10-year, $2.5 billion contract for contact center solutions has come to its end, GSA has elected to acquire these services via a new method. GSA is preparing to add SIN 132-20, titled Automated Contact Center Solutions (ACCS), to Schedule IT70 to secure more advanced AI computing for these applications and processes within the government. More details surrounding the addition of this SIN can be found online on GSA’s Interact platform.

Getting on Schedule as a GSA Multiple Award Schedule contractor is a big step toward maximizing your company’s ability to generate government sales. However, it’s not the only step. Obtaining a MAS contract is only a double in the third inning of contracting through the GSA MAS program.
